Anstey Junior SchoolAim High No Limits

NSPCC Danceathon

Anstey held its first Danceathon in aid of the NSPCC on Friday 4 October. The whole school gathered in the hall first thing in the morning, to warm up and practise some moves with all the teachers. During the day, each year group had a dance battle to see who was the grooviest. There were some impressive sights, including a girls versus boys challenge and even a Year 5 conga! At the end of the day, we all gathered for one last dance and an opportunity to demonstrate our best moves. Thank you to all the pupils and staff who took part; it was great fun and we raised £1,076 in support of the NSPCC.
