Working Parents

Anstey Junior School offers working parents comprehensive child care arrangements. There is an early morning breakfast club at the school every day of the week from 7.45am and an after school club which runs until 5.45pm. 

Pupils of Alton Infant School are also welcome at the after school club and are walked to Anstey Junior School via a walking bus arranged by Alton Infant School.

The after school club complete a range of activities each day, suitable for all children. Every day there is a balance between physical activities and chill time. All children are provided with a healthy snack.

Some examples of activities that a child could complete are; arts and crafts, gardening, table football, pool, reading, seasonal outside sports, drawing, golf, tag rugby and den building etc. Activities are always age appropriate.
